B.A.B.E.S. Inc. Respite and Counseling Services aligns itself with organizations which serve the same demographic, uphold the same service and compassion philosophies, and serve groups whose participants are in dire straits. B.A.B.E.S. Inc. is proud and grateful for the relationship and support provided by Lutheran Social Services. The fine staff of LSS makes it possible for B.A.B.E.S. What Is New?
S.T.E.P.S. (Strategies, Training. Education. Progress. Success)
The organization’s partnership with the Workforce Development Board. Is an additional tool for young parents, benefitting their families. Young Parents are assisted with employment readiness and soft skill training. This service is on program site, this help does not require an additional “trip” for young families already struggling financially. Case Manager Lindsay Peters is on site to help, coach and support. B.A.B.E.S., Inc. realizes that success and progress are often a matter of important S.T.E.P.S.

A Friend…
Mrs. Ethel D. Keller-Mother Theresa’s unofficial American attaché, inquired about the program of
B.A.B.E.S. Inc., and found one of her many Fox Valley Calcuttas, in which to invest her time, energy, and treasure, through the support of the vision and various program components of B.A.B.E.S. Inc., Respite and Counseling Services. Mrs. Ethel D. Keller became a B.A.B.E.S. Founding Angel Contributor in 2003.

B.A.B.E.S. families, volunteers, staff, and directors will always be grateful for Ethel’s recognition and appreciation of our endeavors, her understanding that solutions don’t have to be complicated, just executed, and her willingness to put her resources where are our hearts were-with B.A.B.E.S.! Her smile, her stories, and her wit will be greatly missed. I’m certainly glad I had the opportunity to meet such a strong and principled woman: her legacy of help remains an inspiration to all that were privileged to have made her acquaintance.

Mrs. Lynne Keller
It is said that when one door closes another opens; doors usually do not open by themselves!  B.A.B.E.S., Inc. is fortunate to have found a friend in Mrs. Lynne Keller, who has not only opened doors, but has also created doors of opportunity for the organization.  She has been committed, energetic and unstoppable in her impact, in a relatively short amount of time.  Lynne was carefully listening as I shared the dream of having an endowment fund for B.A.B.E.S.' perpetuity, one day.

Her response was simple "I might be interested in doing that..."  Her interest turned into action and B.A.B.E.S. Inc Respite and Counseling Services, now enjoys an endowment fund, managed by the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region.  Lynne with this single act of generosity, carried out without fanfare, was able to accomplish what many other have not, render me speechless!  I am extremely grateful for Lynne's sustaining empowerment, on behalf of the families who we serve unselfishly together.  We hope that B.A.B.E.S. will continue to alleviate, redirect and support.  Thank you Lynne, you're truly a B.A.B.E.S. Angel.   This gift inducted Lynne into the B.A.B.E.S. Founding Angel's Contributors Group.  - PGM
